Project Description:
- New 2,250 SF Masonry / Pre-Engineered Metal Building to house a centrifuge, sludge transfer pumps, grinder and polymer feed system, including yard piping to interconnect with the existing plant operations
- New concrete Sludge Mixing Tank with vertical mixer and decanter
- Demolition of existing bridge scrapper system in the existing Sludge Basin and installation of a new chain and flight sludge collector system and decanters
- Demolition of twelve (12) filters and installation of new filter bottoms and fiberglass troughs
- Convert backwash of filters from a surface wash to an air scour system. This will require the installation of two (2) new blowers along with 10” and 6” stainless steel air header piping
- Extensive asphalt paving and sidewalk replacement
Ritchie and his crew have been working diligently to get the new Centrifuge Building dried in to allow for inside work during the wet and cold days of winter. Work has started on demolition of the filters and they are making great progress with them
